Cracked heels is a problem with everyone. When skin on the feet becomes so dry that it cracks. Some common reasons for having cracked heels: Cold chilly winter weather, dehydration or dehydrated skin or dry skin, non- moisturized feet and hot baths or showers.
Treating cracked heels and blackened feet, you need:
- Listerine
- Shaving Cream
- Lotion (feet moisturiser)
Steps:
- Put shaving cream on your feet.
- In a bucket or sink, combine equal parts of warm water and Listerine.
- Soak a small towel in the solution of water and Listerine.
- While the shaving cream is still on your feet wrap the wet towel around your feet and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, use the towel to rub your feet. So that some of the calloused and discolored skin will rub off.
- Apply a good amount of lotion to your feet.
- After your foot bath spend at least 5 minutes to dry your feet.
- Tips to Avoid Cracked Heels:
- Wear the exact size of footwear.
- Moisturise your feet and specifically the heels.
- Keep your feet clean. Scrub and Exfoliate them regularly.
- Use powder in your shoes and socks.
